Preview: Nokia 6260 Slide

The original 6260 was a flip and the first S60 phone that I ever owned. The new 6260 is a slider and an S40 device. Where did it all go wrong? To be honest, the two phones have very little in common. The latest 6260 slide looks a lot like the 6220 Classic and 6210 [...]

More on Nokia’s E75 Slider

It’s been a while since word first leaked out about Nokia’s E75 smartphone. For those who weren’t paying attention, the E75 was an Eseries handset with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, all wrapped up in an E66-ish package. BGR now has one or two more details on the phone, with pictures to boot.

Kodak Goes Up Against Samsung and LG in Patent Fight

Eastman Kodak Co. is not happy. At least not with the current #2 and #5 largest phone manufacturers, Samsung Electronics Co. and LG Electronics Inc. The imaging giant filed a lawsuit against both South Korean conglomerates in New York, and, as an added bonus, also lodged a complaint with the International Trade Commission. According to [...]

The N76: Back From the Dead and Now With Half a Keyboard

The Boy Genius Report has word of a new Nokia phone (code name: WAHOO) that’s slated to hit AT&T some time in the future. It looks just like the ill-fated N76, Nokia’s answer to the ridiculousness that was the RAZR.

A World of Hurt for Nokia, and Everyone Else

Ouch: Nokia reported Friday that fourth quarter industry mobile phone sales would be far lower than expected – 20 million phones lower, to be exact. The company also painted a pretty bleak picture for the future, thanks to a certain global recession. Nokia didn’t give any hard numbers for 2009, other than to say that [...]
