Leaked: More Pics of the Nokia Tube Part 2

July 26, 2008 in Nokia Phone News

If last week’s pics of a possible Touch UI interface didn’t faze you, this might: new leaked shots of the Tube, a device that still hasn’t been officially acknowledged by Nokia. This despite being shown off in the latest Batman movie…

Nokia Tube: Onscreen Keyboard

Yep. A shot of the tube’s onscreen keyboard. Looks rather blah.

Gizmodo reports that the Tube will come equipped with some decent features: 640×360 16.7 million color screen, haptic feedback, 3.2 megapixel camera + Carl Zeiss + Dual LED flash, and an integrated GPS. That’s great, but with some rather fierce competition coming from the likes of Samsung (Omnia), Sony Ericsson (Xperia X1), and the second coming of the “JesusPhone”, Nokia’s going to have to kick its touch handsets up a notch if it wants to make a dent in the market.
