The Battle Between InterDigital and Nokia

A small company (to the tune of 275 employees) called InterDigital announced today that it is currently in talks with Nokia over licensing several patents related to 3G technology. Normally, this wouldn’t really be news except for the fact that last year, InterDigital got mean ‘n nasty and tried to get the International Trade Commission to ban imports of the infringing Nokia phones.

Sony Ericsson Gets Knocked Down (and takes everyone else down too)

Nokia N82: Now in Black

Nokia’s latest phone release is actually a re-release of its signature candy bar, the N82. Available in a new black color, the N82 is still the same rootin’-tootin’, straight-shootin’ 5 megapixeler with Xenon flash, 30 fps video recording, integrated GPS with built-in geotagging, and wi-fi. And on the side it makes phone calls, too.
