Thanks to ever-improving technology, even el cheapo emerging market phone batteries are getting pretty decent - and in some cases better than Nseries phone batteries (case in point: N71 with a 850 mAh battery vs. the 2600's 870 mAh). Never mind that the N71 came out like 10 years ago. And for the fashion-conscious, emerging market phones also don't look as cheesy as they used to.

The dual-band 2600 classic bears some resemblance to the 2610 phone, but Nokia's dropped in a couple of new enhancements sure to spice up your life, among them Bluetooth, a VGA camera, and even EDGE. Battery life with the aforementioned 870 mAh battery is also a little impressive: up to 6 hours of talk time and 580 hours of standby time. The screen's a little bigger vs. the 2610 - it's 128x160 pixels supporting up to 65k colors.

Anyway, you can't ask for too much, so besides the above there isn't anything else to write home about. It's Series 40 to the core, if that actually means anything to anybody.
