Nokia and Facebook Getting Together?
Here’s a new tidbit from the rumor mill: according to paidContent.org, Nokia is currently in talks with giganto social networking site Facebook - up to the point where the phone manufacturer is even considering purchasing a stake in the multi-billion dollar startup.

The deal makes a lot of sense for both sides: Facebook gets access to millions of global mobile phone users, and Nokia gets to market new phones to lots of hip 15-34 year olds. And since the majority of Facebook users are in the USA, Nokia also gets a chance to take on one of its weakest markets.
“Nokia and Facebook are working on porting the social network on to Nokia handsets in a major way, we have learned. The Facebook placement could be as prominent as the YouTube button on the main screen of iPhone, our sources indicate. Also, the deal involves giving Facebook a major slot within Nokia retail products’ displays.”
