Nokia E61, Part 3 – “Liam”

January 6, 2008

First there was the E61. Then came the E61i. Now Nokia’s gone a little off the beaten path with the naming convention with the “Liam” – the latest Eseries Blackberry-ish handset with a full QWERTY keyboard.

Nokia Liam?

Bhupinder?

The quad-band Liam looks to be longer and thinner than the previous incarnations and comes with the sort of business features that you’d expect from an Eseries: HSDPA, wi-fi, 8GB microSD card support, and Bluetooth. But what makes the Liam interesting is the addition of a GPS and a sweet 3.2 megapixel camera (with an additional videoconferencing cam on the front).

Oh yeah, it also has that N81 style directional key that might also double as a navi-wheel too.

Nokia Liam?

I don’t know who Bhupinder is, but I’d bet he’s not a happy camper right now.
