Price Check: Nokia N81 8GB Retails For $629

Nokia’s updated the price of the N81 8GB on the USA site: it’s now selling for the everyday low price of $629. While the web site doesn’t show the price of the N81 (non-8GB version), expect it to retail for $529 based on the Euro prices (430 Euros for the 8GB, 360 for the regular model).

Instead of dropping $600 large for what is essentially a stripped-down N95 with rounded edges, pick up a fully-featured N95 from ebay – prices for the smartphone have fallen to the $450-$500 range. It also blows the N81 out of the water with a straight features-to-features comparison.
