Nokia N810 Starts Shipping

November 19, 2007 in Nokia Phone News

est member of the Internet Tablet family – the N810 – is now shipping, at least in the United States. For those too lazy to read the whole preview, here’s a short recap of the device’s features – 4.13 inch touch-screen, slide-out keyboard, integrated GPS, wi-fi, Tablet OS 2008.

The N810 retails for $479, but Buy.com is currently selling it for $456.18 shipped (-$10 if you pay by Google Checkout, and you may find a 5% Buy.com coupon floating around somewhere too). Still way out of my budget, although the keyboard opens up some new possibilities – for gaming, that is. It might not beat out Amazon’s Kindle for book reading, but it sure does a heck of a lot more.

If you’re a cheapskate, you can always pick up the older N800 tablet for a mere $228.99.
