Nokia N95 8GB Starts Shipping

In a press release, Nokia officially announced that the N95 8GB (not to be confused with the N95-3, N95, N95 NOT made in Finland versions) smartphone has started shipping globally.

Select regions in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa will receive a special edition N95 that includes the Spiderman 3 full-length movie and other Spidey-related software (games, ringtones, wallpaper, and screen saver).

The Nokia N95 8GB is the pseudo-successor to the N95 smartphone, and adds 8 gigabytes of internal memory, a larger screen (2.8 inches), bigger battery (1200 mAh), A-GPS and a slightly different look.

It's a multimedia powerhouse that combines an excellent camera, music/video player, wi-fi, open operating system, and GPS into one slider phone.

The N95 8GB will retail for 560 euros, or $799 US dollars.
