Accessory: Nokia BH-903 Bluetooth Headphones

With Nokia introducing more A2DP enabled handsets in recent days, it’s a virtual certainty that new Bluetooth headphones are sure to follow.

The latest are the Nokia BH-903, an ear-bud type of stereo headphones that also double as a headset if necessary.

Nokia BH-903 Bluetooth Headphones

Accessory Type: Stereo Headphones/Headset
Accessory Compatibility: Any Bluetooth enabled phone, preferably one with A2DP
Profiles: A2DP, AVRCP, PBAP, HFP, HSP
Expected Cost: 200 Euro
Buy From: ??

Supported profiles: A2DP, AVRCP, HSP, HFP, and PBAP. That last one is the phone book access profile, which I believe lets you view your contacts on the BH-903’s OLED display. Finally, there’s an integrated remote that lets you control your music without actually having to touch your phone.

(Expected) Battery life is very decent - the BH-903 can crank it out for up to 15 hours, whether your using it as a headset or headphones. There’s a good chance your mobile phone will die before these headphones do.

At 200 Euro, the Nokia BH-903 is one of the priciest Bluetooth headphones around - costing more than some of Nokia’s cell phones.

As with the rest of Nokia’s accessories line, these headphones will be released globally in the fourth quarter of 2007.
