Going to China with the N95

Some guy named Peter Schindler is planning on taking a 20,000 kilometer road trip through China. "Project N95" is sponsored by - you guessed it! - Nokia.

Projecto 95!

Man...

Mr. Schindler will start traveling on May 9, and will complete his trip on August 12. During this time, he'll be armed with a whole series of Nseries devices and will be blogging his way to the finish line.

The project is partially meant to garner awareness for the world's most populous country, partially meant to raise funds for the China Youth Development Foundation, and partially meant to serve as an auto-updating Nokia advertisement. Okay, I admit it: I'm jealous that he gets a free sports car as well as a bunch of free Nokia phones AND gets to drive around and chill with the Chinese folks for 3 months. Although the sports car gets auctioned off at the end of the journey with the proceeds going to the aforementioned charity.
