Nokia – revving things up?

The Motley Fool has a pretty good summary of Nokia’s 1st quarter earnings as well as where Nokia stands right now compared to the likes of Motorola.

The bottom line is that Nokia is very well positioned for the coming year, with a “cooler” product portfolio, additional cost-cutting measures that were put into place, more potential profit to be made in emerging markets (potentially lowering the average selling price too), and finally being able to capitalize on Motorola’s mistakes in the last couple of quarters.
