Games: PicoDrive 0.51a for S60 Third Edition Phones
You asked for it, and you got it. No, not a shiny GooglePhone, but how about a sexy new emulator release?
PicoDrive 0.51 alpha for S60 Third Edition phones was released a short time ago to critically-acclaimed reviews. Actually, I’m just speaking for myself.

PicoDrive is a Sega MegaDrive/Genesis emulator – it runs .SMD format roms and allows you to play them at nearly perfect speed with sound. Lots of improvement here, folks. The first PicoDrive ran like crap with sound enabled, but now with faster processors and hopefully more efficient code, it’s actually quite playable. The sound is damn decent, too.

New improvements include toggling of different display modes – for all you N92/N93/N93i users out there, take advantage of that landscape mode and bring back the good ‘ol Sonic the Hedgehog days. Or maybe some Streets of Rage is more your style. Either way, you can flip the screen about in a couple different ways to suit your needs.
The controls are highly configurable, and you can map nearly any key to a Genesis controller button (supporting 6 ABCXYZ keys + start + diagonal key buttons). You can even use Game Genie codes to your liking. Like most emulators, PicoDrive supports saving and loading game states – meaning you can save anytime, anywhere.
