RF Micro is a company that makes radio frequency circuits for mobile phones. Unfortunately for them, on Friday the company warned that lower demand from a “top-tier” customer would negatively affect upcoming quarterly numbers.

Marat Fayzullin wrote in to say that version 1.2 of his Sinclair ZX Spectrum emulator called “Speccy” is now available for all you oldschoolers. Available for Symbian Third Edition phones, Windows, and MS-DOS.

That’s right. YouTube is heading to your cell phone in June. Currently unnamed as of yet, the mobile site will contain 800 selected videos from the video site – at least initially. Eventually users will be able to access every video in the YouTube library.
The reason Google is launching the site way down the road is because of an exclusive agreement between the giganto search company and Verizon. In the agreement, Verizon users could watch certain clips from the YouTube library.

The latest news is that Sagem and Sony Ericsson signed a licensing deal today. The terms included Sagem providing the latter with new “entry-level” aka budget mobile phones, branded as Sony Ericsson of course.

So you go to the nearest Cingular, T-mobile, Verizon, whatever store. Chances are pretty damn good that the phones there are made by one of the big guns: Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericssons, Samsung, etc. Maybe you’ll see a really small and ugly Pantech phone.
