RF Micro is a company that makes radio frequency circuits for mobile phones. Unfortunately for them, on Friday the company warned that lower demand from a "top-tier" customer would negatively affect upcoming quarterly numbers.
Today's newly announced Nokia phone is none other than the Nokia 5700, or in other words, what you would get if you mixed the Nokia 5200 with the Nokia 3250 phones. It's like a mutt.

That's right. YouTube is heading to your cell phone in June. Currently unnamed as of yet, the mobile site will contain 800 selected videos from the video site - at least initially. Eventually users will be able to access every video in the YouTube library.
The reason Google is launching the site way down the road is because of an exclusive agreement between the giganto search company and Verizon. In the agreement, Verizon users could watch certain clips from the YouTube library.

The latest news is that Sagem and Sony Ericsson signed a licensing deal today. The terms included Sagem providing the latter with new "entry-level" aka budget mobile phones, branded as Sony Ericsson of course.
So you go to the nearest Cingular, T-mobile, Verizon, whatever store. Chances are pretty damn good that the phones there are made by one of the big guns: Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericssons, Samsung, etc. Maybe you'll see a really small and ugly Pantech phone.
One of the biggest wireless industry trade conventions, CTIA, starts up in just a couple of hours. Held in Orlando, Florida, the trade show will draw the biggest, the best, and the brightest wireless companies for a merry get-together that will hopefully end in something newsworthy.
Nokia UK is currently offering a free velvet handbag with any purchase of select L'amour collection models: the 7390, 7373, and 7360. For some reason, the 7370 is NOT included.
The handbag is embroidered with flower detailing. Not for the guys, I guess.

Jim Cramer is the dude who always ranting and raving about something or other. The problem is, he's right a pretty good percentage of the time. So people tend to listen to his ramblings.
Looks like infamous corporate raider and investor Carl Icahn has picked up a couple more shares of Motorola stock. Mr. Icahn and friends now own 2.7% of all Motorola shares outstanding, up from 2.5%.
And he's still looking for a board seat at the company, although Motorola has sent out cards to all shareholders telling them not to vote for The Man.
Shares of Motorola rose 1% on the news in premarket trading.

Talk about a rough week for Palm. Earlier, rumormongers speculated about a possible acquisition of Palm, Inc. causing shares of the company to skyrocket like no other. Then on Wednesday, Motorola announced some very bad news, and Palm shares took a dip in the pond.
Nokia announced today that the N95 Nseries phone started shipping to certain European, Asian, and Middle Eastern markets. Hey, what happened to North America?
