Nokia USA’s latest lame contest is “Pay Off Your Holiday Bills!” Basically sign up for their newsletter and get a shot at winning a $1000 American Express Gift Cheque. Does anyone ever win these contests? I’d love to know.
Earnings week continues at the Nokia Phone Blog. Motorola’s woes might seem trivial compared to LG Electronics, South Korea’s star we-manufacture-everything sort of company.
After the earnings fiasco by Motorola balanced by Sony Ericsson’s complete and utter domination of its earnings report, no one really knew what to think when it came down to Nokia.
Next up is Nokia’s BH-201 headset. Apparently it’s tiny enough that you can wear it as a fashion accessory, the BH-201 features a “soft earpiece wheel” that’s adjustable with several included sizes in the package.

I’ll be honest: this thing looks like a child’s toy. Then again, the Nokia BH-100 Bluetooth Headset is designed to be small, lightweight, inconspicious, and cheap. I think it succeeds on all levels.

Many newer Nokia phones (N80, N73, etc) come with an application called Mobireader. I more or less ignored it until yesterday, when I “spent” (aka wasted) 2 hours of my stinking time converting html files into little eBooks. I’m happy to report that I have officially mastered Kindergarten eBook Conversion.

For reasons unknown to man, Nokia is offering several new downloads on their Hong Kong page.
