A Nokia phone auction for a (good) cause...
So Nokia and Brian Eno have teamed up, yet again, to offer you more super-expensive 8800 Sirocco Edition phones: it's all for a good cause though.
10 Nokia 8800 ("Brian Eno signed") Sirocco Edition phones will be auctioned off from January 8, 2007 until February 12, 2007. Each phone will be numbered, autographed, and will feature a certificate of authenticity.
The proceeds will be split between the Keiskamma AIDS treatment program and the World Land Trust. The Keiskamma AIDS treatment project provides Anti-Retroviral drugs to the needy in South Africa and the surrounding areas, while the World Land Trust strives to save "threatened lands" all over the globe.
It's for a good cause, so starting January 8th check out the Nokia Charity Auction.
