The Ugliest Possible Bluetooth Headset
So I was gone for most of the weekend and more or less not able to update the blog (although I've been pretty lazy the past couple of weekends too). And as I was going through my daily rounds on the internet which includes a number of deal sites, this dropped into my lap.

Wow! That is one nasty looking device.
What we have here is a deluxe combo Bluetooth headset AND mp3 player. Unfortunately, it looks like whatever company that made it just glued together the mp3 player and headset to make a nice little multifunction device.
Anyway, this little wonder supports Bluetooth v1.1 and has enough battery life (using 1 AAA battery) to run for about 2 hours of just straight talking. 36 hours of standby time also. The nice thing about the Bluetooth part is that it has a screen so you can actually see who's calling if you can't take a look at your phone or something.
Besides the Bluetooth headset feature, the thing also functions as an mp3 player, portable flash drive, and digital voice recorder. I can't seem to figure out whether it comes with 128 or 256 megabytes of storage, but it's definitely one of those. The battery fares a little bit better for the mp3 player, bringing in about about 9 hours of music playback.
So what's the good news about this product? It's ridiculously cheap to the tune of $19.99.
Side note: I like how one of the features is "User Friendly." Hah!
