The Nokia N91 Phone: Music Edition
I can’t really say that the Nokia N91 really took off here in the States. I don’t know a single person who has one, or even WANTS one. But all that might change with the Nokia N91: Music Edition!

The Nokia N91 Phone: Music Edition
Okay, so looks-wise it’s almost the same exact phone. Same shape, same button structure, same sliding keypad cover. The black trim does look more “hip” than the previous incarnation of the phone.
The main difference is the new hard drive, with an 8 gigabyte capacity over the old N91’s 4 gig-ness. Considering memory cards these days are pretty damn close to 4 gigs, it’s nice to see a little improvement in that field. And the hard drive can also be used as a USB flash drive on top of that.
You can now listen to your music wirelessly through Bluetooth headphones - the N91 music edition supports the A2DP music profile. So that’s stereo sound with the right equipment. Unfortunately the N91 does not support Bluetooth specification 2.0, only 1.2.
Wi-fi/WLAN is still present on the N91, nothing new there. Same with the 2 megapixel camera. I don’t believe the camera has an integrated flash this time around either.
The new N91 now runs Symbian OS 9.1 Third Edition. Which means you’ll be running into all those annoying problems with unsigned applications and what not.
Battery life. It seems like the new and the old N91 share the same BL-5C 850mAh battery. The old N91 could play music straight for up to 10 hours but unfortunately there’s no stats on the Music Edition.
The N91 Music Edition is also still tri-band 900/1800/1900 and WCDMA 2100.
