Whew. What a week! In this edition of the Week in Review, we’ve got a little summary of Nokia’s newest phones, Music Recommenders, Motorola’s company buying spree, and finally, last but not least, Catherine Zeta-Jones.
If there’s one phone I’m looking forward to, it’s this one. The N95. One of Nokia’s most complex phones ever made. Let’s highlight some of the features that make the N95 a work of art: 5 megapixel camera. Integrated GPS. Dual action slide. Carl Zeiss. Stereo speakers. TV out. WLAN.
It’s going to be busy here for the next week or so. Why? Because Nokia just released two new cell phones, the Nokia N75 and N95. We’ll be looking at the N75 today, which so far is looking like a thinner, slightly more updated N71 (the only “normal” sized Nseries flip phone).
Nokia released a whole slew of new accessories for the hip music phone lover in you. Actually it’s a collection of Bluetooth headsets, music speakers, and headphones.
Virgin Mobile isn’t exactly the first place I’d go for prepaid service. Considering the fact that they’re on the Sprint Network anyway. But this seems like a pretty decent deal IF you have the guts and the gumption to see it through.

Sure, it’s not as cheap as other Bluetooth “dongles” but it looks a hell of a lot better. My Bluetooth dongle cost me 12 bucks and is officially busted too.
Unless you lived under a rock during the roaring ’90s, you probably heard of a series of games called Monkey Island. Or maybe Maniac Mansion. Or Sam & Max Hit the Road. These were some of Lucasarts’ most popular games back in the day, games that are considered classics.

So it isn’t often I get to do software reviews around here. However, after fooling around with one of Gameloft’s newest games – Brain Challenge – I’m itching to do more of ‘em. Besides, you can only preview so many Bluetooth headsets.
