In the shadow of all the heming and hawing going on last week about the N93 and N73 phones shipping, a couple of new Nokia cell phone cases quietly surfaced onto the Nokia site. Behold the next generation in cell phone cases!
External iPod speaker stands seem to be all the rage these days. After all, it’s like having your own pesonal boombox without the radio, tape, or CD player. Considering MP3′s are now THE standard music format, it helps to have nicely sized external speakers that hook up directly to your device, right?
Enter the Nokia Music Stand MD-1. Now that MP3′s and cell phones are pretty much intertwined these days, I suppose it was only a matter of time before one of these newfangled things were released for cell phones.

The Nokia N93 and N73 phones started shipping today, according to a Nokia press release. Both phones you may remember have an integrated 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics.
With the absense of any other interesting Nokia phone related news lately (after all, Nokia can’t release new cell phones every week ya know), I’ve been looking at more accessories. Or actually, trying to find cooler ones, or just plan weird ones like the Nokia Xpress-On Fun Shell. And now we have the Nokia BH-900.

…and here we have Blueant’s Supertooth II handsfree device. Similar to Nokia’s Bluetooth car adapter, the Supertooth II is meant to be a quick-changing, long-lasting handsfree loudspeaker for your car. Powered by a lithium ion battery that provides about 20 hours of talk time and 800 hours of standby time, this is a very impressive device.
I like the odd, ridiculous and the absurd. That’s why today I’m featuring the Nokia Xpress-On Fun Shell. I’m still scratching my head as to why this product was actually made.

Sunglasses with embedded earbuds never really took off. There’s a good reason why those “Oakies” with a built-in mp3 player and headset are sitting in the Woot warehouse as we speak – nobody bought them.
So of course, Oakley did the sensible thing and made more versions of their MP3 player sunglasses. And then they made some Bluetooth sunglasses. Behold the RAZRWIRE and the O ROKR.
