Phone News: The Nokia 6233 Phone Starts Shipping

June 15, 2006 in Nokia Phone News

Nokia reported yesterday in a press release that the Nokia 6233 phone began shipping. The 6233 is a triband/3G phone (900/1800/1900 + WCDMA 2100) candy bar style phone packed with a 2 megapixel camera, stainless steel body, stereo speakers, and expandable microSD memory. It’s a fairly feature-rich phone that runs Nokia’s Series 40 3rd Edition interface.

It’s basically a mid-tier phone with top-tier features. A very nice mix of features. Of course, I think it looks like bunk.

The Nokia 6233 will be available for 325 Euros / 408 US Dollars. That’s before subsidies, which are usually the cell phone provider discounts.

You can read the original Nokia 6233 phone preview here.
