Contest: This goes out to all the writers...

Nokia Unwired has a contest going on right now with the 3 winners getting an "INSANE Taylor Hawkins (who?) Prize Pack." Which is a Nokia 3155i phone, some ringtones and wallpapers, a pair of drumsticks autographed by the guy himself (Taylor Hawkins), and signed CDs and posters. Who is this guy?

All you have to do to enter is write a 150 word story about how YOU would spend a night with TAYLOR HAWKINS. And of course you have to sprinkle in some tidbits about the Nokia 3155i phone which ranks up there with some of the more un-noteworthy phones that Nokia has released (it's a budget CDMA phone).

Nokia Unwired is what I could call Nokia's Latest Effort to Get People To Buy the N91. Although I think it's only Nokia Unwired by name, I don't think Nokia actually has a hand in any of this stuff. (the web site says that it's run by some company named "Streetwise") They highlight popular and up-and-coming bands on the site and let you earn "sound waves." The person with the most sound waves each month wins their choice of 2 Nokia phones.

Join Nokia Unwired if you want to enter the contest or earn sound waves or whyever the hell you would want to join. I joined JUST so I could win one of those official Nokia binders.

The trivia question on the Nokia Unwired page: Which Nokia phone does NOT have a video camera? And they seriously put the N90 there as one of the choices. Wow.

In other news, I ordered a Nokia 6030 phone through the continuing Cingular Nokia Refurb phones deal. It's official: Cingular's web site is stupid and garbage and I ended up ordering 3 6030 phones because the site "broke." Not cool.

Now would somebody please tell me who Taylor Hawkins is?
