How-To: Unlocking the Nokia 6030 Phone via DCT4 Calculator

Here’s a handy dandy set of instructions on how to unlock that Nokia 6030 phone you have lying around.

We’ll be using the NokiaFREE Unlock Codes Calculator program for the unlock.


First download The Nokia Unlock Codes Calculator v3.10.

Save it, open it up, and run setup. Install wherever!

Load up the Nokia Unlock Codes Calculator program.

The first thing you need to do is go to options! Go to options and check off the “Expert Mode” box located in the second box. This will open up some more options for you.

Now let’s get started with the fun stuff. Type in *#06# on your 6030 (or look under the battery) to get your IMEI and enter it in the correct box.

Enter U.S.A. for the next box, and then CINGULAR – Pacific Bell Wireless in the box after that.

MCC+MNC should read 31017000.

Make sure the box under MCC+MNC reads ASIC 2, and change the V2 option to ONE.

Double check your numbers and click calculate!

You should have a series of unlock codes for the Nokia 6030 in the right hand box. They look like this:

#pw+xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx+x# (note: x = some number)

Enter this on your 6030 using the # and * keys where necessary. For the p’s, the w’s, and the +’s press the * key.

After you hit the final # key your Nokia 6030 should say “Phone Restriction Off” and you’re done! Congrats!

      This process only works for 6030, not 6030b models.

    Hi, I,m trying to delete the contact from the phone list of my nokia 6030 but he needs security code.\r\nAlso when I tries to enter new code , he demands the previous code.
    I’ve forgottenthe previous one !

      You can try 12345 or 1234. Those are the defaults.

      The RM-225 is the 6030b which will NOT UNLOCK with these instructions!

    I bought a T-Mobile Nokia 5610 at USA and I live in Costa Rica, now the cell phone is asking for a restriction code and I am not able to use it. I tried to use the tool on this page but it doesnt have my nokia 5610. Any extra help?

    ok here i go… please help me!:

    i first stared of with the unlock calculator… with out noticing it was a RM-225 6030b phone…. i tried and tried.. and nothing did it… so eventually i locked it… now i know theres a code out there to let me redo the attempts to unlock it.. but havent found it… so i bought it from tmobile and brought it to Costa Rica central america….
    and i cant get it to work.. and its kinda hard for me to send it ny where from here… so any one have any ideas?

    please any one? any ideas??? i need it to work ASAP!

      once you’ve locked your phone due to entering too many codes, you’re stuck. your only option is to get one of those “black boxes” that can unlock the phone for you. they’re not cheap though.

    hi i am writing from Moscow. my mobile is nokia 6030. IMEI: 359351/00/945341/0. i bought this mobile from India and had been using it for 10months. yesterday it asked for restriction code and when i tried something (only once) it showed code error. after that its coming as insert sim card (sim is already inserted). wat to do? can u help me? network provider is ‘Beeline’.

    Check ebay auction # 160205500453.
    The seller’s ID is thelooxcompany.
    I have sent several phones of all different kinds there, including Nokia 6030 and 2610 hardlocked phones that I had completely given up on – all with perfect results and fast turnover (like a week between the time I sent it and the time I got it back, unlocked) – all for $5 per phone and $5 total shipping (no matter how many phones you send to get unlocked).

    1) Is it possible to unlock it using code calculator? So far I’ve had no luck.

    2) Will it work in UK & India.

    3) If code calculator doesnt work or I’ve used all my 5 goes what are the other options for getting it unlocked?

    It worked for a Vodafone – Spain terminal by following instructions of Alexander Norsk (just tried the 7th code). Select country = Spain Company = Vodafone /Airtel Movil

    Thanks. Once I found the instructions from Alexander Norsk on June 22, 2007 and realized I had to REMOVE the Sim Card first, I was able to unlock my Nokia 6030. Now I can buy a Sim Card in guatemal and use my phone.
