Preview: Nokia SU-33W Mobile TV Receiver

Nokia’s SU-33W Mobile TV receiver is compatible with a grand total of one phone: the N73. Of course, that means N73 owners can now enjoy DVB-H mobile tv coverage with an external device while everyone else just has to suck it up.

So the SU-33W is a fairly small (92.4 x 45 x 9.8mm) device that can stream mobile TV to your Nokia N73 via Bluetooth connection. It’s powered by the now-infamous BL-5C batteries (up to 12 hours of battery life on one charge).

Handy, yes, provided you have DVB-H broadcasting in your area.

As mentioned before, compatibility itself is a little spotty: Nokia’s accessory page says that the SU-33W is only compatible with the N73, yet there’s no mention of this anywhere else.
